Some interviews are a bit surreal for me, and this is one of those. I have long

admired today's guest, bestselling author and counselor John Eldridge, one of my favorite

writers and someone I appreciate for his deep love for Jesus and kind heart. It came through

in our interview, and we had a really neat conversation about a lot of

things. I asked him what his favorite John Eldridge book is and told him mine. Asked if he ever

had a time. He didn't think he wanted to write books anymore and his answer sort of surprised me.

And we talk about the one minute pause, sub-tweeting, and all kinds of goodness from

his new book, Get Your Life Back, Everyday Practices for a World Gone Mad. Once again,

John Eldridge has written a book I Won't Soon Forget. It is my deepest joy to welcome him today

to Joe.

I have to say, this is an interview that is personally quite meaningful to me.
