and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be five minutes well

spent. Can you believe it's almost the end of May already? Man, this month has flown by,

but every month flies by, it seems.

What a joy to be with you all month on here. If you're just joining us, we've been rising this

month on Mondays, rising in parenting, rising in holy confidence, rising in leadership,

and now today we're going to talk about rising in our call.

Our guest the next two days is going to talk to us about our purpose. Yes, that big life

purpose, but also the purpose in our every day. So I thought we might start off the conversation

this week by talking about what rising in our call really means because I suspect we may not even know.

God's call on our life, which by the way is sort of a churchy phrase to use. I'm not even sure

people fully understand what a call is. Is God actually verbally yelling out to us?

It might sound silly to some, but it's what some of us imagine. Is it a tangible directive from God?

Go do this or that? I think most of us wish it were that specific, and sometimes maybe it is, but for more of us,

I think God's call is this innate sense that we're supposed to move in a certain direction,

or something we love to do, or are gifted doing marries with an opportunity that comes up.

And that's how we know that God's call on our life is something that we are indeed supposed to move forward in.

Here are some questions I get a lot.

How do I know what God has called me to do?

How do I live out of calling when I have certain limitations that I have to deal with?

Either the kids are little and we're limited in that or we might be on the opposite end of the spectrum where we feel like we've passed a window
