will be five minutes well spent.

Well, we're wrapping up another month on Jesus Over Everything, and I want to ask you a question

today.

How do you honor people in your

life in the midst of hard circumstances? Maybe they're a difficult person, or you've had a

run in with them, or they're having some kind of success, and you don't really feel they deserve it.

Our response in those times really tells us what kind of character we have, because it's easy

to love people when they're pleasant and their relationship's easy but what about when it's not what do you do then today's Friday

5 is all about honoring the people we might not think deserve it honoring them even

when it's hard it's important so let's talk about it I'm not sure if there's anything harder than honoring people when you don't feel they deserve the honor.

And when I say honor, let me say that I think this is a word that's being somewhat misused in Christian society right now.

I'm not a fan of how people are using it to create a climate of people worship for personal gain.

Don't get me started with all that. That is not what I'm talking about. For the sake of today's topic, what I'm talking about

with the word honor is really just kindness and staying above board in responses and reactions to

folks, even when they've been less than fair or maybe awesome to us. So let's get into the Friday

5. Number one, way to honor people,

even when it's hard. Number one, don't talk bad about them. This is hard, especially for someone

like me who's quite blunt and honest and often may want to warn someone about someone else. If maybe
