I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent. Welcome to the Friday 5, especially if you haven't joined us for our Friday 5 show before. We do this every Friday, by the way,

lists five things that are sometimes fun, casual, sometimes spiritual, and hopefully always practical

to help all of us find some greater traction in our life. Today is what I hope is a show that will

inspire us. But not only that, I hope it helps us keep our focus on the truly important days of our life. Not every

day we live is as important as others, and not every moment we live is as pivotal, I think.

We're talking today about the five pivotal life moments we all have, universal moments in life

that really sort of do define us. I can't wait to talk about it, so let's not waste one more minute.

When you heard our topic, maybe your mind went to things like getting married, having a baby,

the day you get a big job, but that's not what this show is about. We all have different journeys

and none is better because it has a specific role. This show is about our universal pivotal moments that all of us have or maybe

even need to have that we haven't yet that we'll define everything else. You ready? Number one,

the moment you say yes to God. Now, this will likely be and hopefully be more than one moment. You may have had many

yes moments to God and all of them will be pivotal. Certainly, that first yes to God moment when you say

yes to salvation and asking him into your heart, that's the most pivotal yes to God moment you'll ever have in

your life. But anytime we say yes to God, it changes us and changes things for sure.

So a yes to God moment, each one will always be pivotal.

Number two, the moment you want to quit, but you don't.

We all have moments we want to quit.

I think they're intense and real, and many of us may become close.

I've written about some of mine.

But when you come to that place, when you come to the cusp of quitting, you want to so badly,

you almost do, but then you press in and you press on and you don't. Something happens to you
