Hi, and welcome to Jesus Over Everything, a five-day-a-week variety show that mixes encouragement,

the Bible, practical how-toes, and fantastic guests for the listener on the go.

I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be five

I'm so excited about our month of shows, and especially because of the good work I think

0:19.9

we're going to be doing on here this month,

0:21.8

going to be diving into some of the lies we either tell ourselves or listen to, and then look to the

1:12.5

or maybe even circumstantial, we're going to see vast gaps in who someone else is compared to us.

1:18.9

But that's such a small way to measure humanity I've found. We're all born. We all die. We all cry

1:25.8

over things, get angry over things, laugh over things, and all of

1:29.0

us need God. So at the core, and in all of the important ways, we are really all the same. As well,

1:37.0

God sees us as no different. Genesis 1.27 is the most compelling verse for how he saw fit to make us

1:43.7

so similar. So God created mankind in his

1:47.2

own image. In the image of God, he created them, male and female, he created them. He didn't say
