So, hi, friends.

Sometimes on this show, even though we talk about Jesus

pretty much every time, except for some Friday fives, and a few places here and there, I get

convicted to be a little more pointed with not so much counsel or practical how-toes, but really

just straight up Bible teach and encourage with the word. And today I want to do that because I know

we all face a week with needs. We all face every day of our life with Word. And today I want to do that because I know we all face a week with

needs. We all face every day of our life with needs. And some of our needs are the same as our best

friend and some are different, but we all have them. And the beautiful news is that God can meet them all.

I love that Jesus plays different roles for us at different times. And I just want to remind us that

whatever we need from God today, that's who he will be. Not because he changes or molds into what we want, but because

he is absolutely everything to meet every need we have, just as he is at every moment.

I love the fact, and I think I've said it on here before, that Jesus is so many things and can be so many things to us.

It's amazing, and we can't wrap our brains around it because it's a thing of sovereignty, but he is everywhere at once, yet deeply intimate with each of us.

He can hear every prayer, even at the same time as millions of us are saying them. Every time I speak, I'm always blown away by how God can take

the exact same message and customize it to meet individual needs. A person will come up to me

and say, that was just for me, and they'll tell me how, and then five minutes later, another

person will come up and say the exact same thing and on and on. It's just the

beautiful thing about Jesus. As I was preparing for this show, I really felt like the Lord said that

some of you listening need him to be the holder. You need him to hold you right now as you
