and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent.

If you haven't been here for a Monday this month yet, we are talking lies we have believed in the truth about them. We tackled the lie

that we're just too different to connect last week. And this week I want to talk about this lie.

The idea of either I've missed it or the opposite. I've made it. What's the truth about peeking? Is there

such a thing? And if so, can we miss the boat on it in our life? I want to talk about all

that in just a minute.

I think we kind of all go through life with the idea that there's this thing we need to reach in our life, right?

This place of achievement that we can get to.

And once we get there, we will have finally arrived.

And maybe our life will be all that we've wanted it to be. Sometimes we imagine it to be the

career of our dreams or getting married or having kids or being independent or making tons of

money or whatever it is. It's that destination of arrival. And then maybe we even get there

and think, why am I not as happy and fulfilled as I thought I'd be?

This is what I always dreamed of.

I think it's because there really is no such thing as peaking or finally get there, in my opinion.

The ultimate life is in heaven.

And so this earth is full of joyful highs.

And then, yes, some really hard lows.

So what I want to say right off is maybe to take some type of idea that there

is a peak you'll get to off the table and then just live the journey much more peacefully from there.
