I hooked up with Joe Pumpliano. He is the author of the newsletter

Huddle Up, the podcast Huddle Up, and of course very well known by people on social media

and anyone in sports business. He and I, as you know from listening to my podcast, have done

some joint podcasts over the past couple years semi-regularly, and we enjoy each other's

insights from different angles in the sports business. So we got together last night, and we did a

live podcast, the two of us, for his podcast, but as we decided, we're going to release it as my

podcast, too. So at one hour sit down,

Joe's asking me most of the questions about the start of the NFL season. We're releasing this

on Thursday, the start of the NFL season tonight with the Ravens and Chiefs, tomorrow night

Packers and Eagles in Brazil. But as it gets started, I wanted to take you inside

all the inner workings of the NFL as they begin, looking back on a busy off season of sports

business in the NFL and looking ahead as well. So many issues we got to, we answered a lot of

questions. It was live, but if you couldn't get to it, here you are.
