So I'm going to start with football and then we will go to the NBA playoffs. I asked this question yesterday for phone lines, for phone calls.

There is a national perception of Washington entering 2026 as probably not going to be a great

football team. You know, all of these all too early power rankings have them somewhere between

19 and 26. They're over under in Vegas

is seven and a half. That's sort of the bottom third of the league. Why do you think the

expectations of this team outside of this market and people inside this market, some of them

don't have high expectations or have limited expectations, but why do you think, you know, national outlets, including the one you work for, are

down on Washington?

I think because of the giant uncertainty around just how improved is the defense.

And, you know, the stat that came out over the last couple weeks of Washington's

performance with Jane Daniels at quarterback.

Outstanding record when the defense limits their opponent to 24 points or less.
