This is the rant week six officially underway and we have a trade. No, it is not the sexiest trade in the world, but I did want to pop in here really quickly and talk about Joe Flacco staying in the division, which is weird. That shows like the Browns really have no interest in keeping

them around because they're trading them to a divisional rival. The Cincinnati Bengals

deciding, I guess, enough is enough with Jake Browning. The Bengals really, they just couldn't

compete. Now, obviously, their defense isn't going to help them, but offensively,

there wasn't enough firepower. There's just too many turnovers. Now, of course, we know Joe Flacco

could be a turnover prone guy, but if you're Cincinnati, I mean, your season is far from over.

You're two and three, and honestly, you just got to do enough to get into the postseason.

Because if you get into the postseason or if you're in the playoff picture,

Joe Burrow will be back under center.

In mid-December, hopefully, that's still the current timetable.

If you're not in the mix, then Burrow won't play the remainder of the season.

So you have to do something here.

And honestly, this comes down to a price point thing. Ultimately, the trade is Flacco and a sixth rounder in

exchange for a fifth rounder. So it's basically peanuts. You're giving up almost nothing to get him.

And he should be an upgrade on Browning. Now, there is still a lot to unpack here,

because you're not getting that Joe Flacco, who was brilliant for the Browns for that stretch

of games there in 2023, even though he did throw a lot of interceptions, you're getting the version

of 2025. We saw that version for several weeks. Here, basically, a month's worth of games for the Cleveland Browns, and he was slow to get the full of 2025. We saw that version for several weeks here, basically a month's worth of
