It's Monday, October 6th.

This is the rant, and that was a wild one.

Still had one more game to go, and if this weekend was any indication, expect the unexpected in tonight's Monday night football game. But I mean, I say like usually it's around a quarter of the season. We get these weird weeks, and it doesn't happen. Sometimes it can be back to back, but it's kind of rare. You never know when they're going to happen, but this was definitely a weird week. We had a couple major upsets. We had some come from behind winds.

We had some absolute blowouts. So it was a weird week, but I want to make sense of it all.

And I want to remind people, it's only one week, right? And just because something happens in one

week does not mean it's going to happen in the next week or that it's going to continue to happen.

So that's why these numbers come into play.

And this is why I like to do what I do on a football Monday.

So we'll go game by game with the games from yesterday.

We're going to start with the London game, of course, because that was the earliest one on the slate with Minnesota and Cleveland.

The number from that game is 110, specifically plus 110.

That's how many yards over expectation Quinn Sean Judkins has been on his carries.

And if you're not familiar with that stat, yards over expectation, we have um, fantasy, expected fantasy points over at FtnFantasy.com, but expectation is used all over the

place. And essentially it's, you take the player, uh, line of scrimmage and, uh, you know,

maybe you could do direction, you could do down a distance. You can, you can factor in for a number of things. So basically in this scenario, what's the expected amount of yards that the running back will get? Well, he's performing well above expectation. And, and he was great in this game. 23 carries for 110 yards. He caught a ball for 18 yards.

Now, the fantasy numbers don't necessarily match the on-field performance,

but big games will be there for Judkins at various points,

and it's abundantly clear that he is the feature back,

not just the lead back anymore.

He's the feature back in that backfield.
