Okay, so this weekend, this poll came out, and it showed Joe Biden in Iowa with 27% of the vote, which is the lead.

Bernie's like right behind him at 25%.

I have a tendency to basically roll my eyes at these kinds of polls.

Former Slatster, current New York Times opinion columnist, Jemelle Bowie.

He rolls his eyes at a lot of political coverage.

It's why I like having him on the show.

At this stage, in any presidential race, we're just kind of gauging name recognition.

Everyone knows who Joe Biden is, and he is the leader.

Bernie Sanders is next up in terms of who everyone knows, then Elizabeth Warren, then Kamala

Harris.

It's worth me saying that Joe Biden hasn't even declared that he's running yet.

And if Biden runs, he will have like a base of support.

But beyond that, it's sort of, it's not conclusive of anything.

Lots can change in between, you know, now and the end of the year or now when voting begins.

I guess I do feel, though, that there's like this, I don't know if I'd call it hunger or appetite,

but there's this growing surge kind of feeling about Biden.

There's this feeling of he's kind of unavoidable.

I think that's true just because he's sort of publicly and openly weighing whether he's going to run.

And then he was the former vice president of the previous president who remains a very popular Democrat.

So it's only natural that there's conversation about Biden.

And honestly, if you were 10 years younger, there would be like no question at all.

Joe Biden is 76 years old.
