This state of the campaign and so I wanted to take it seriously. I wanted there to be some kind of a real breakdown on it.

My top line. This was more Joe Biden's Philadelphia speech where we talked about Ultra Magga

Then it was 20-20 folks be real soul of the nation by

now he's speaking to different audiences and in a lot of ways this felt like him trying to stamp out problems in his own coalition,

more so than it was to reach out across to Republicans. So this is far more to

excite people who might be upset at him about little things on the Democratic side than it was say

to reach out to Nicky Haley voters.

It certainly was not looking to take any kind of responsibility for reaching out to anybody who might consider

themselves a Donald Trump voter.

This was a rally around the base affair.

I think that Biden had very, very good moments.

I think that Biden had very weak moments.

Look, he's an old dude and between the slurring and the coughing

the base doesn't care because they saw energy and that's what they wanted.
