Summary
First, they begin with the news that Special Counsel Robert Hur is recommending no charges against Biden despite his conclusion that Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified material.” But Biden's day got much worse very fast when Hur said one of the reasons there would be no charges is because a jury would likely see Biden as "a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory," who could not remember when exactly he was vice president or when his son, Beau, died. That left the Biden team crowing about the absence of charges but denouncing one the of the key arguments about why there should be no charges.
Then they break down the disastrous Biden press conference, in which he denied disclosing any classified material, blamed any improper storage of classified documents on his staff, and then wrongly said Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was president of Mexico instead of Egypt.
Finally, they shake their heads at assertions that the reporters at the press conference were behaving in an "awful" and "revolting" manner and wonder what Biden's communications team was thinking setting up this press conference in the first place.
