Hi everyone, I'm Hillary Kerr, the co-founder and chief content officer of Who Outwear, and

Our guest today spent her first life traveling the world and photographing its wildest animals.

Jody Boyman took some of the most phenomenal photographs of animals in Africa, and Antarctica,

and her work was featured in incredible publications like Time and Life.

But as Jody's work took her around the world, she increasingly encountered a planet that

was hurting from unsustainable food practices, so in 2015 she and her brother founded Hungry

Planet, a plant-based nutrition company offering meat alternatives for modern lifestyles.

With products ranging from plant-based chicken to beef to crab, Jody has created a business

with the purpose of feeding the world's people while helping the environment.

The story of how Jody became the co-founder and chief purpose officer of Hungry Planet

is full of twists and turns as they're so often are on Second Life, and we even get into

what it's like working with your sibling.
