0:30.0	A good heads up. Thinking your feeling is your thinking. Right. Thinking what you're feeling is
0:38.9	what you're thinking when it's not. This is a very, very important thing to pay attention to in life
0:46.3	because it's not thinking. It's just feeling. Now listen, feelings definitely have an impact on what's going on in the
0:56.2	world and definitely what's going on in your world and definitely what's going on in your head. Happiness, sadness, anger,
1:02.2	frustration, fear, surprise, disgust, excitement, anxiety, confusion, jealousy, guilt, shame, pride, regret,
1:11.2	relief, contempt, hope, despair, compassion, pity. I mean, the list goes on and on.
1:21.1	And because of that, and in a leadership situation, you have to put emotions into the calculus
1:29.5	of the decisions that you're making. If you know everyone's sad, you got to pay attention to that.
1:33.7	If you know everyone's angry, you got to pay attention to that. If you know that a decision that
1:37.6	you're going to make is going to make people excited, you got to put that in the calculus.
1:43.2	If you know what's going to make them frustrated, you got to put that in the calculus.
1:46.9	So you've got to, and I haven't quite figured out exactly how to explain this.
1:55.1	In a way, I think that feelings are, you need to look at them through the lens that they're kind of
2:06.3	this, my analogy for today, I'll get better, is that they're sort of like the surface

2:18.2	And so that means that they do change the appearance, right? They change the appearance of what
2:26.4	the plan is, they change the appearance of what the idea is, they change the appearance of what
