0:36.4	Joan of Arc Part 2. Dreams Never Die. Subtitle The Crowning of a King, that king being Charles the seventh, the

0:49.9	France. As you remember from part one, Queen Isabeau had signed away France's
0:55.2	independence to England with the Treaty of Trois, which declared her son Charles to
1:00.0	be illegitimate and promised her eldest daughter Catherine to the young
1:03.8	king of England Henry the sixth while at the same time fulfilling the first
1:08.1	half of an age-old prophecy that being a woman shall lose France, a virgin from Lorraine, shall restore it.
1:17.3	And Joan Lark, called Jean Dark by the French, was doing her best to restore it. It was June 18th, 1429, and French morale had never been higher.
1:28.1	The French had been marching all through the Loire River Valley,
1:31.2	signing new recruits to fight, lifting people's pride and spirit, and winning every battle they took on.
