It's a new week and with a new week we have a new podcast and chances are with a new podcast we have a brand new guest.

This week it's Joe Koi. For those of you who don't know Joe Koi he is one of the most successful stand-up comedians ever.

He started doing stand-up in coffee shops in Las Vegas and now he sells out theaters and arenas around the world.

In 2017, Joe Koi broke a record in Honolulu by selling the most tickets by a single artist at 23,000 over 11 shows.

So the mayor of Honolulu officially named November 24th Joe Koi Day. So it is Joe Koi Day in a few weeks.

He recently became the only comedian to sell 17,000 tickets over 30 shows at the Brea Improv.

Last year in 2018, the Just For Last Comedy Festival in Montreal, which is the biggest comedy festival in the world, named him comedian of the year.

He has four specials over Comedy Central and Netflix, the newest one being Common and Hot on Netflix that came out this year.

That's the one we talk about the most during this podcast. It's awesome.

Tickets are going through May of 2020. I know he's in Australia and I believe tickets to Dubai come out today.
