J.J. Reddick. And you know I was thinking this is one of the great things about

podcasts. I mean you and I became pals because great things about podcast.

I mean, you and I became pals because I did your podcast.

And then we started hanging out.

I know.

It was, you were like one of my really like early sort of gets for me on the pod.

Try me in that, seriously.

No, it was a big deal to have you on.

And as a fan of the show, like obviously, you know,

it was, it was a very opportune time to do it.

Yeah, and you were very prepared and you take it seriously and having come to know you.

Because I knew you were, you know I'm a huge basketball fan and I love shooters, but I didn't know you and then now getting to know you, I know that that kind of preparation is like a huge hallmark of who you are. Like you never want to walk into a situation where you

don't have the whole thing sorted right? Yeah there's some element of

control that you can sort of have going into a situation and you know then you have to

be prepared to respond to whatever the environment

you know sort of puts in front of you but the preparation is that's huge I

I get horrible I've done a few pods where I'm like I never don't prepare but sometimes you still

prepare and you walk into a pod and you're like man this could go one or two ways

like this can go really bad because you're just not comfortable with either the material or the guest and I don't know how many times you do

episodes where you don't know the person at all.

Yeah, but I've done a few where you're basically cold calling.
