Guys, I am not an expert on tariffs.

I'm going to, it's going to shock you right out of the gate.

I don't mean to dump this right in your lap and kind of undermine any of the analysis that I'm about to submit for the remainder of the hour.

But I knew I wasn't a financial expert.

I mean, my late 20s, I've told you the story before.

My identity got stolen

when I was 27 and my credit score went up 38 points. Okay, at that point, I was like, you know what,

Jimbo, maybe you're not the best with this money thing, you know?

I admire, you're honest. Amen. So as far as the tariff ruling goes, I will let the experts

weigh in on that. But long story short, it was a six to three vote.

And the vote essentially said that the president doesn't have the broad latitude to tariff anything he wants at any rate he wants.

Wrong.

I don't doubt he's going to protest and yell and scream.

But what this essentially means going forward is if Trump wants to throw a tariff on something,

he's going to need congressional approval to justify it.

Now, the good news is the Republicans control the Senate in the House.

The bad news is the Republicans control the Senate in the House because the truth is

they're not as gung-ho to enact the president's agenda as they tell you they are on TV.

This is politics as usual. Straight up. Okay. Understand that Donald Trump is so unique in the

sense that he really got into office and got to work immediately.

Hey, we're going to close the border.
