President Trump, J.D. Vance, honoring them this morning with a leaf-raying ceremony at Arlington

National Cemetery, dueling speeches as well out there at Arlington. And one of the hallmarks of the Trump presidency that I've appreciated probably the most

is the fact that they've kind of ended that war on warrior.

Something you hear Pete Higgseth say a lot as the Secretary of War now, that they've renamed

the Department of Defense, is that they're out there and we have seen recruiting numbers

hit what has to be they were telling me it was an all-time high but there's a semantic debate

it's like the movie Major League where they're like oh that home run was too high and he's like

what do you mean it's too high well you know the trajectory of the ball as it was crossing

and finally somebody goes hey who gives her it's too high. Well, you know, the trajectory of the ball as it was crossing. And finally somebody goes,

hey, who gives a... It's gone. Okay, and that's how I hear about these recruiting numbers. I was

quoting earlier. I said, wow, I heard this is on a record pace that we've never seen before.

And somebody was like, actually, in the aftermath of both 9-11, but what I'm trying to say is either

way you slice it. If recruiting numbers are breaking records of any kind, that's a good thing.

Correct the Mundo.

And the reason they're breaking those records is because they feel the appreciation from people like President Trump.

And they're getting some understanding out of a guy like Hegsteth who kind of gets that in order to win wars, in order to maintain peace through strength, in order to be respected as the fiercest fighting force in the world, you need the people in uniform to be able to focus all in, all in on war, on fighting, on all the deterrence and all the other methods

we deploy to keep the world safe and to keep the country safe.

Nobody needs to focus on pronouns or drag shows or any of the woke things that were

going on in our military.

Everything woke turns to shit.

And they knew that when Trump got in and Higgseth stepped up, became the secretary of war, and told them no more beardos.
