What if you did this? What if you spent 20 years

routinely going up to a microphone talking with your friends, but also talking to yourself about

yourself, your life, your decisions, your thoughts and ideas? What if you were also a person

who has dealt with depression, with anxiety,

with a substance use disorder? Dealt with the suicide of a person very close to you,

who was not just a coworker, who felt like family, but actual family as well. And yes,

be advised that this episode mentioned suicide. What if the recordings from that microphone then went out to a huge audience,

and so everyone knew about you?

What if, before those 20 years, you had spent another 18 or so talking about yourself

on stage with another microphone?
