0:23.0	And they've also worked with everyone from Mary J. Blage to Human League
0:27.0	since the 80s, they've been responsible for some of the funkiest,
0:30.0	most beautifully produced pop songs of all time.

0:36.7	I want to start off, you have this great new song with Baby Face
0:40.4	and you have a project under your own names after all this time.
0:45.0	What is it about now that you're finally doing this this way?
0:49.0	Well, I think a couple of things. I think number one is just the way our career kind of worked was our intention was to do this album and the idea for it started 35 years ago actually.
1:05.0	Before we started working on Comptroller with Janet,
1:07.6	we were in the studio and getting ready to start working
1:10.6	on our own album.
1:12.2	And so we'd started putting tracks together for that.
1:15.0	And then we got a call from John McClain,
1:17.2	who was the A&R person at A&M Records at that time.
1:19.9	He said, he want to do, well, he asked us
1:22.3	who we wanted to work with on the roster we said Janet is what we'd like to work with.
