And day one of mini camp is in the books here from the cross-country mortgage campus.

practice field after the Browns completed a two-hour practice day one of mandatory mini-camp.

You'll also hear from running back Quinnchon Judkins and corner Tyson Campbell.

But we kick things off on a very busy day out here, a celebratory day on the cross-country mortgage campus,

as we salute our great friend and Brown's Guard, all pro guard, Joel Betonio, who has decided to retire after a

fantastic 12-year career that saw him start 178 games, seven Pro Bowls, five all-pro

selections, the longest tenured captain of the Cleveland Browns, a Walter Peyton man of the year.

Our owner, Jimmy Haslam, said it best, a Hall of Fame player and a Hall of Fame person off of the field.

Before practice today, Joel Betonio and Brown's owner, Jimmy Haslam, addressed the Cleveland media.

Thank you for coming today.

It's a really special day for the Cleveland Browns, our organization.

I'll have to admit for the organization, Joel, it's a little bittersweet.

I think Joel Betonio embodies everything, any team, but particularly the Cleveland Browns

would value.

I would argue very strongly that he's a Hall of Fame player.

And when you look at what he achieved here, it compares very favorably to names like Jim Brown
