Hey, Mike, so I unfortunately agree with you about Brad having to go. I think it's really an

indictment on the league and in this specific case, our players, you know, our Celtics players,

that someone with the merits and intelligence like Brad who can coach is it respected. And I just want to know what you think about this. It seems like Wick and Danny have this in their psyche. I don't really know what to call it, but I'm going to call it almost like a paranoia of a possible seller's remorse, where we mentioned that the answer of Wick saying that Brad would instantly get a job elsewhere if they let them go.

And it seems like this school of thinking has translated to their players.

And I'm wondering if it's been a reason why they haven't pulled the trigger on past trade.

Like, you know, like they can't trade Marcus Smart because he might win another defensive player the year award elsewhere.

Or they can't trade Jalen Brown because he might,alen Brown because he might end up having a good career elsewhere.

Yeah, I think that psychology does affect Danny, where he's just so obsessed with winning

the deal as opposed to making his team better.

I lose a trade, but my team gets better.

I think he has a trouble with that one, you know? As most do, like, I get it. I mean, so, yeah, I was going to say, I think there's part of what's going on with the Patriots and Garoppel. Definitely. Yeah, a lot of teams follow this. The Celtics take it to another level, it feels like. but you know that logic to me is just sometimes if you have the team, you lose the trade. It's worth it for you to lose the trade. Sometimes you've got to give to get. That expression exists for a reason. But Mike, yeah, I'm sorry. The coaching thing I put separately, the whole idea of firing the coach, because I said to you yesterday. And look, I don't have any more information I did yesterday because I know you're going to accuse me that.

So I don't.

But here's what I will tell you. I think the way they look at it is that, well, if we fire the coach now and we appease the player, well, then what happens with the next guy? Like, you know, you establish this precedent of like... You become Kyrie. Well, so, right. I don't like the coach. Get rid of them. Well, so right. You enable the players, right? You then empower the players. And I do think what the Celtics are trying to build is this idea that no, no, no, no, no, you're not bigger than the organization. I think they're trying to build that. I just don't know if in that league it can work. But the fact is in that league, you are bigger than the organization. Right, exactly. That's sort of the way that it works.

And, you know, I'm even sort of hesitant to say that it's a firing kind of thing. I just think
