As a coach, you should always, you know, not put a ceiling on your team and you should always have faith.

That said, it's not, it's not, you know, it's not time to dream about the future.

It's time to do it now.

You know, like, we need to play better. We need to, like,

show up and compete. And every night with great urgency all the way through the game,

regardless of what just happened. And so I don't really care about the future. I don't really

care about the first 48 games. Like, what are we going to do?

That's the question. Like, that's, it's time to show up.

It's Matt Stevens, obviously, the other night after that loss to the Dallas Mavericks,

challenging his team. And does anyone out there think the players are going to respond to that challenge? I haven't heard a single person say, Stevens put them on notice and now they're going to respond. No one thinks they will respond because the coach has lost the team, I think. What's your assessment of the Celtics right now and Brad Stevens's role in it, Chris?

Yeah, I mean, obviously it sort of looks like at this point that these guys are not responding to Brad.

There's no question about that. And I think I said to you guys before that I had heard last year,

there was a little bit of a tune out factor. And that's why Evan Turner's here.

But, you know, after looking at them play for this long and seeing the way they've played and the fact that since the All-Star break, they're four and eight.

And three of those wins are against teams that are basically tanking.

You're talking about Houston, Orlando, and the G-League representative that currently plays in Oklahoma City.
