Our guest this week is Jimmy Fallon the titular hosts of the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon a scrappy little program that airs weeknights on NBC at 1130.

Whoa, that is very late.

In his very first monologue after taking over the Tonight Show, Jimmy stated his objective,

to help people have sweet dreams after a long day.

He said, my goal is just to make you laugh and put a smile on your face so you go to sleep with a

smile on your face and live a longer life.

It's a goal that has been much harder to achieve in the year and a half since the inauguration,

and Jimmy seemed really at a loss for words trying to describe what it's like having to generate comedy every day right now.

But he continues to try to do what he set out to do.

He'll touch on everything from the day in the monologue and then go into something

lighter and sillier as if modeling moving on saying it's okay to remember the joy

we're fighting for for a few minutes.

The bit we talk about this episode is one such lighter, sillier bit.
