Just before I say goodbye to the topic of these women who are so in love with Luigi Mangione

and sit in the courtroom sighing at the sight of him. Before we move on from that,

somebody mentioned to me, well, you know, he's innocent until proven guilty. And I understand

the presumption of innocence. But the presumption of innocence is a legal construct. And that has to do

with the manner in which the courts operate.

And surely in a court of law where the government, the prosecution must prove that a defendant

has committed a crime beyond a reasonable doubt, there is, in fact, the presumption of innocence.

That doesn't mean that all of us have to believe that the man is innocent.

I am not going to be a juror. I already had my jury duty a couple of months ago. I'm not going to be a

juror in this case. I don't have to believe in a presumption of innocence.

I don't have to.

I can look at what I see and make up my own mind whether I'm right or whether I'm wrong.

Because somebody said, well, how can you be condemning those women who are big fans of Luigi Mangione?

If he's presumed innocent and you don't even know

whether he did it or not. Well, the way that I view it, those fans, they believe he did it too

and they love him anyway. And of course, we all hope that he and any criminal defendant gets a fair

trial. But come on. Oh, I can love him

anyway because he's presumed innocent. That's just ridiculous. It's the Mark Simone show here at
