Why don't we start with Jara?

Gotta give it to Jerry Jones. I have to give Jerry Jones this much.

This dude is always on brand. Brand being, hey, look at me, talk about me, react to me, and he is always, always focused on that

brand. Part of me has to respect that. And that's why nobody

should be surprised in the very least that he was the one to leap at the chance to

make that move for Trey Lance. One of the most Jara moves ever. And it's one of the

most Jara moves ever, both because it attracts a lot of attention and makes almost no sense.

No football sense at least, but it makes a ton of sense to Jara though because

well, look at me. I'm talking about it right now

that deal went down a few days ago and I'm starting my Monday by talking about that

deal mission accomplished I guess you got me again gramps you got me

old man listen if we're talking about grabbing attention a pub, then it's a genius move. But if we're talking

about football, it's a nothing burger, a nothing move at best, which is all once again just classic gera classic look at me gera of

course he overpaid for the dude and don't compare the fourth round pick compared to what

the Niners gave up to get him and say that's an incredible move. What value?

No, compare it to what everybody else was offering today. Not what the Niners gave up back in the day and then you have a better idea of what the value is or is not.

Apparently nobody was offering anything close to that.

But what did he get for that?

He got an entire weekend news cycle carrying over until Monday morning. Everybody is talking

about him and his cowboys and let's just forget that he doesn't have any actual

playing time or reps for a dude that needs playing time and reps more than anything.
