Say what you will about the state of golf right now. But at least there is something to say

about golf right now. In the past week we have essentially seen golf at its very

best and golf at its very best and very worst, but at least it's been interesting.

At least it's given us something to talk about and watch and react to.

So at its worst it's been a hypocritical

belief show but at its best it's been borderline miraculous and even even that that too borderline erotic

borderline erotic what up Brett and it its worst, it's been a hypocritical bleep show.

At its best, it's been borderline miraculous.

And at its very best best best it's been borderline erotic.

I mean what I'm saying is there have been moments where golf has damn near gotten nice with itself.

And we got all of that in the last seven days, right? In fact, you

could say this was Golf's most interesting Tigerless week in decades. And yes, the merger announcement was a disaster. I'm not

saying it wasn't and I don't think that anybody will ever

again, but it was a fascinating week,

but it was a fascinating week,

and it led into a wild, wild weekend in Canada,

because that's totally what everybody expected to happen next, right?

The Canadians, at the Canadian Open saving the day and the vibes by delivering one of the most amazing walkoff scenes that we have ever seen in a PGA tour event. Any 72 foot part for Eagle in any context

is incredible. But I'm not even sure how to describe the epic level of a 72 foot walk off Eagle Put

on the fourth playoff hole to break a 69 year drought for Canadians at the Canadian Open.

But somehow incredibly, that's exactly what Nick Taylor managed to pull off yesterday.
