But it has been a minute since anybody paid any attention to the jets and for good reason.

There has not been a reason for anybody to talk about the J-E-T-S since that athletic bombshell article dropped.

You know the one explaining that the catastrophic dumpster fire of a season that we just watched

was every bit as much of a catastrophic dumpster fire from the inside

as it appeared and smelled like from the outside.

You stink.

Yet here the bleep we are.

Here the bleep we are talking about the jets this morning.

You know why?

Because the jets made sure to get everybody's attention this week via their favorite way of getting

everybody's attention and you all know that's not by winning. That's not by making big-time moves in free agency. In fact, it's never having

anything to do with football at all, at least not winning football.

You see the jets have everybody's attention right now by

surprise surprise making headlines that have nothing to do with football.

Beginning with that one major headline about their QB1 potentially running for Vice President.

Heh, heh, hah, hahah!

I mean, if somehow you have not seen this story,

and it sounds ridiculous to you.

It's because it is ridiculous.

It's beyond absurd.

But because the jets are the jets.
