I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. Former First Lady Jill Biden's ex-husband

has been arrested in charge in the death of his second wife. 77-year-old William Stevenson

was taken into custody on a first-degree murder charge in the death of Linda Stevenson. Officers had

responded to a domestic dispute December 28th at a home in the Wilmington Delaware area. Police say the

64-year-old was found unresponsive in the living room and died despite life-saving measures by officers. The press release at the time said her body was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science for an autopsy, but a cause of death has not been released. Stevenson was charged following a weeks-long investigation by detectives in the Delaware Department of Justice. William Stevenson married Jill Biden in 1970 when she was 18 years old.

The couple divorced in 1975.

Jill Biden married then-Senator Joe Biden in 1977.

Stevenson was arraigned and placed in the Howard Young Correctional Institution after failing to post $500,000 bail.
