Summary

Airline pilot Chad Freeman got his start in real estate by purchasing a “pilot crash pad” in New York in 2005. Although he describes it as a “terrible” property, it launched him into the real estate business. In 2015, he decided to take a boot camp course to help him break into the mobile home park industry. Today, Chad is the founder of MHPinvestors, which purchases undervalued mobile home parks in the Midwest. He is a GP of 150 mobile home lots and 47 RV spaces. In this episode, Chad shares what attracted him to the mobile home parks space, what goes into completing a heavy turnaround for an 82-space park, and the toughest lesson he’s learned when it comes to adding new homes to his parks.
