Following the coaching searches in the NFL, they actually have a lot to do with then the coordinator searches, because there are some candidates for head coaching jobs who may not get one, and then they're going to just be coordinators.

And one of those guys have been keeping an eye on lately for you is Anthony Weaver, because Anthony Weaver has a history with John Harbaugh in Baltimore.

He's also a head coaching candidate, but also a defensive coordinator candidate for you guys amongst other teams.

And he's gone on a few head coaching interviews lately, this Anthony Weaver.

But I saw a clip of him the other day, because this is what we do now.

We want to learn about these guys that we don't hear that much from.

Like how much am I paying attention or you're paying attention to Anthony Weaver as he's the DC of the Miami Dolphins? Not a lot. And one of the ways we learn about these people is by listening to them. So here is a little bit of Anthony Weaver talking about football and defense that I got to tell you, I'm ready to hire him. I don't know. I don't know how you guys feel, but I got old tinkly. And what he did, as you'll hear in this clip, is what I like to call the Jake Roberts. Jake the Snake Roberts, great wrestler from the 80s, he would say powerful things. You do this too, by the way, Tak. And he would do it in a calm voice. He didn't have to raise his voice. They didn't have to scream and yell the way peasants like me and Sean do. Just very calmly cuts through. So here is, potentially, the next defensive coordinator of the New York football giants. Like, I'm old school. I may sit up here. I'm a nice guy. I smile. I do all those things. But all of our problems that we need to solve can be solved through violence. Yeah, they want to legislate it out of the game. But we play defensive football. And in defensive football, at some point, you draw a line of sand and you say, I'm going to set the edge.

I'm going to stick my helmet under this guy's chin, and I'm going to set the edge. I'm going to violently

take the ball away. And that's what we need to do with a steely-eyed focus, would resolve, with resiliency,

and we're going to stop people and I'm determined we're all determined

for that to happen oh my god man he's got the voice too it's believable because of the voice

oh my god how that's football this is this is what john hall ball was talking about loving football

because football is violent.

You have to be a little bit off your rocker to do this, to play this game at a high level.

You have to be somewhat crazy.

Cam Scadamoo, perfect example.

He's a lot of crazy.

But even normal people like me, you got be a little bit like wanting

of pain. And he sounds like he

preaches that. Oh my God.

I want to stick my chin. I'm going to stick my helmet

under your chin.
