Well, hey, everybody. If you got your journals with you today, I need you to write down your keyword. Once again, this is going to be true for a while until otherwise stated. Your keyword is Jesus. Today, your key scripture, we're going to be in John chapter 2 versus 1 through 11. So if you brought your Bibles and I hope you did, John chapter 2 versus 1 through 11, we're going to be living right there today. We're not going to be all over the place. So you can just plant your feet right there. Now listen, I have no idea how many weddings I've done over the years and 25

years of doing ministry. I've done many. And because of that, I've accumulated many stories and I've

witnessed many things. But what I'm very, very proud of is I have a streak that to this day is intact. I have never

had a single person in the bridal party ever pass out in the middle of the wedding ceremony.

And that seems to me to be pretty unique because all of my friends who are in ministry

who've been doing this for a while all have at least one story of a bridesmaid, a groomsman,

or even a groom or a bride passing out keeling

over in the middle in the middle of the of the ceremony and i like to think that the reason i haven't

had that happen is because i coach people up i give a little pregame speech i get some very

practical advice to say things like listen don't drink too much drink some water okay and means, here's the most important thing. When we get up there in front of all those people, do not lock your knees. Like, give a little bounce every now and then. It's okay. Give a little bounce. And because of that, I like to think, because of my great coaching that that's never happened. Now, you watch the next one I do. Somebody's going to kill over. I think I've got one this summer. But the reality is this. There's no doubt

that weddings can be stressful. There's so much pressure to make sure nothing goes wrong and

everything goes perfectly. And we learned this in my family because my daughter got married last

Christmas, two days after Christmas, my daughter got married. And two days after Christmas my daughter got married and

what we learned is simply this it doesn't matter how simple of the wedding ceremony or the venue or any of that's

going to be there's still just tons of stuff there's tons of details there's tons of pressure tons of

responsibilities things you got to accomplish you got your family your friends the venue the food

the drinks all those things to concern yourself with and then got your family your friends the venue the food the drinks all

those things to concern yourself with and then the kind of the hope and the desire is that once you

get through the ceremony when you get to the reception that you can kind of exhale and everybody can

take a breath and go hey we got them married and now we can just kind of sit back and enjoy the party. Somebody snapped

this picture of my youngest son, Bo, at my daughter's wedding last year, and it's one of my favorite

pictures of him, because listen, there's nobody anywhere near him. He is just having the time of his life.
