All right, turn to Matthew Chapter 7. We've been in a series on Jesus was. Now I want to tell

you something about this series Jesus was. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the same. So when we talk

about Jesus was, then he is, he still is. But we begin begin the reason I named it that was because the first one was Jesus was a carpenter

and obviously he's not a carpenter today but what he is is he is a Lord that became a man and that can sympathize with our weaknesses.

And that was the point of Jesus was a carpenter, that he became a human being, that he had a family, that he had a job, that he knows what we're going through,

and he can sympathize with what we're going through, and sympathize with our weaknesses.

And then we talked about Jesus was a shepherd, that he leads us and he guides us on a daily basis.

We talked about Jesus was a prophet and that the ministry of a prophet is not to tear down but to build up.

And that he comes to build us up and that he's

building us into a house and each of us have a place such as a beacon or an elder or

teacher or a life group leader're ministering the children.

We each have a place and we need to get in our place just like Briggs get in place in church and in a house.

So we need to each get in our place.

Then we talked about last week.

That's right. Jesus was a servant. I was just testing y'all.

Jesus was a

a servant and that if the King of Kings and Lord of Lords was a servant when he came

and was only served for 33 years shouldn't we also be servants and have a servant heart and love and serve one another?

This week we're going to talk about Jesus was a teacher.

And let me tell you something about this.

Jesus was the greatest teacher who ever lived. There is

absolutely no doubt about it and I'll tell you exactly why he was the greatest
