All right, we're in a series talking about Jesus was. The reason we're doing this is because what did Jesus reveal about himself for the 33 years he was on this earth?

We talked about Jesus was a carpenter,

and in essence that he became a man

and that he relates to us,

even because he was a human being,

he can relate to our struggles

and the things we go through.

We talked about Jesus was a shepherd, how he leads us and how he guides us on a daily basis.

We talked about how Jesus was a prophet that he came to build us up and encourage us, not tear us down, and to build this up and encourage us not tear us down and to build this into a house

and each of us have a place in that house and a ministry and a service.

This week we're going to talk about Jesus was a. And in essence what we talk about here is that

Jesus is going to deal with a part of us that many of us don't like dealt with. Now I want

to read you something that a man named Wilbur Reets wrote many years ago.

You'll tell that because he makes some statements that don't relate to today.

They relate more to many years ago.

And he deals with pride and prejudice in this. It's called

three dollars worth of God and he wrote it tongue in cheek. In other words these

weren't his true feelings but he was trying to make a point.

So I want you to pick up the point that he was trying to make.

Three dollars worth of God.

I would like to buy three dollars worth of God, please, not enough to explode my soul or disturb my sleep, but just enough
