Paige Murray is a Southern Bell from South Carolina, and just so happened, met Ty Murray, nine times world champion in the rodeo business.

I've been in rodeo all of my life because of my grandpa and my grand,

because of my grandpa and my daddy being rodeo cowboys and then brother and sisters and all of that stuff and just grew up on the rodeo trail. Of course,

a lot different than what your daughter would probably do on the rodeo trail now. Things are

very, very different. But would you please explain what it is about rodeo that appeals to so many people. Yeah, you know, Ty grew up in this world.

He's like a fifth generation cowboy. His ancestors worked on the 101 ranch at the Wild West show in

Oklahoma. My great ball did too. So neat. I'm, and, like, ranching isn't big out there.

It's like, we don't have the open land and the space.

But I've always, like, romanticized the Western life.

And Black Beauty was my favorite movie growing up.

And then eight seconds and the horse whisper.

And I've just always loved animals. And so when I got into college, I was like,

I want to try to rodeo. And we couldn't really afford it. I had to use my tax return money to

adopt an off-the-track thoroughbred to try to be my barrel horse. We were never successful, but it was
