I was just at Sam's Club last week, taking my five-year-old on a daddy-daughter date.

And it's like the best daddy-daughter date place because you can get lunch for like $4, you know, for Baltimore.

I would prefer Costco if I'm just being completely transparent, but we don't have one close. So I went to Sam's Club and got a hot dog, slice of pizza or whatever, and we're browsing the aisles. And your book, your new book, was like one of two Christian books in the entire place. Oh, that's really cool. I've not heard that. Yeah, that's good to hear. So you got your, you got the hot dog?

We got the hot dog. We did not buy your book. I apologize. It didn't make the budget. Hey, you chose, rightly. You got the hot dog's got to be honored. I'll be honest with it. I read like three chapters, but didn't buy it. I'm totally kidding. Dude, it's good to see again, man.

Tell us about the new book that you just put out.

Yeah, so I just released this book called The Missing Messiah.

And the idea is that for most believers, like the word Messiah might get associated with Christmas,

but it doesn't have a lot of

implicational meaning. And yet for those followers of Jesus in the first century, has a huge

statement to refer to Jesus as a Messiah. You know, we speak of Jesus Christ, and we typically,

I think a lot of people would say, oh, Christ is kind of like his last name,

you know, like Jesus, first name, Christ, last name.

But Christ is the New Testament way of saying Messiah, of saying the Anointed One.

And so this book is meant to help people recognize that, hey, our focus on Jesus as Savior is beautiful

and is really good.

But there is another wing to that plane, and it is Jesus as Messiah, Jesus as anointed

king.
