I'm Pastor Mike Winger and this is Bible Thinker the program dedicated to thinking

biblically about everything. As we're going through our series on evidence

for the Bible we're going to be hitting sort of a new stride.

We've been talking about prophecy and how prophecy proves that the Bible has information

from beyond the mind of man.

This is absolutely amazing.

It's singular in the Bible.

But right now we're going to move specifically

to prophecy about Jesus.

Up till now I've talked about Ezekiel's prophecy

as an entire or Alexander the grave or Antietans,

companies, the various historical figures and places.

But right now we're going to just spend a few weeks focusing on Jesus.

Because there are so many prophecies about Jesus, it's hard to just pick one and say that was it. So we're going to take them as a club and we'll deal with them.

Well, we'll take our time doing this, but first I want to respond to something that I've heard before.

In fact, I've heard before, in fact I've heard frequently and maybe you've heard

too, it's this concept that you can't use the Bible to prove the Bible. I don't know if you've heard that

before, if you've been out witnessing a lot especially with

skeptics or atheists this comes up a lot you can't use the Bible to prove the Bible.

Yet that's kind of what I'm doing right as I'm showing you prophecy so I'm going to respond

to it real quick. There's a tiny bit of truth in that.
