Jesus heals a withered hand.

Luke 6 through 11, on another Sabbath,

that would have been Saturday for them.

They were Jewish.

He, that is Jesus, entered the synagogue.

This would be like the church and was teaching.

So he was the preacher and a man was there

whose right hand was withered.

So he's got some sort of ongoing chronic disability. The scribes and the Pharisees,

those are religious leaders and neat nicks and nitpicks and they've got clipboards and attitudes

and they're the bad guys. Watched him to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath. So they might

find a reason to accuse him. But he knew their thoughts and he said to the man

with a withered hand, come and stand here and he rose and he stood there. And Jesus said to them,

I ask you, is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm to save life or to destroy it? And after

looking around to them, all he said to them, stretch out your hand. And he did so

when his hand was restored, but they were all filled with fury. Let me just say this. If Jesus heals someone

and you're angry, you got a problem. Amen? But they were filled with fury and discussed with one

another what they might do to Jesus.

So here what we see, and you're going to see this over and over.

You're going to see that Jesus is against religious people,

and religious people are against Jesus.

And here what we see is there's a man.
