In the past I tried to earn God's love by what I did.

When things didn't work out like I wanted,

I thought it was because I wasn't reading my Bible enough

or praying or serving in church enough,

or I missed a meeting or a conference.

I was relying on myself and what I could do in my own strength.

So I tended to be self-righteous, legalistic, and judgmental.

I'd heard of Andrew Womack years before.

So when we heard that it was opening, Janisburg, we were so excited. My wife and I both signed up.

It was there that I really began to understand the love of God

and his grace through the awesome teachings of Andrew and other gifted instructors. I put up a picture of

Woodland Park with Pike's Feek on our vision board. My wife and I always used to have

our pictures of our dreams on the wall. Once we did year two in Johannesburg we knew that we needed to come and do year three here.

Then we took a big step of faith to come to the main campus in Colorado.

What changed my thinking the most about the nature of God was the Life Foundations module taught by Mike and

Carrey Pickett. That's when I really got a revelation of my Heavenly Father's and conditional love

for me. Understanding the extent of God's love for me has changed me forever.

Our two sons noticed such a big change in me and in my wife that they also decided to attend

Carras.

Now I see myself as someone who is completely loved by God without having to qualify in any way.

He is a good, good father and his nature is love.
