From early on I felt the call of God in my life. I grew up in a spirit-filled home and I hadn't

encountered with God when I was nine years old. In my teens and 20s I served in church

but put pressure on myself to be as good as I could be so that God

would bless me but all I could see were my flaws I used relationships to make me

feel good about myself instead of running to God I got burned out and drifted away from the Lord and ended up moving to Spain.

I thought living like the world would relieve the burden I was carrying.

But I began to grow increasingly bitter and was stressed out all the time.

It became a shell of my former self.

Six years into this life, I realized there was only one thing I could do. I needed to go home.

My time at Kares has been a season of remembrance.

God has been reminding me of experiences that I had with Him and scriptures that have been inside of me all along.
