On September 28, 1996, 6-year-old Jesus Dela Cruz was playing with a friend when he was

approached by a man with a dog who offered him a new bicycle.

According to his friend, he went off with the man and was never seen again.

This man, Robert Levesque, was immediately arrested, but not for anything having to deal with

Jesus' abduction.

He was being held on unrelated charges as the investigation

went on. And as it went on, police went down different avenues, including asking whether or not

the person responsible for Haseus's disappearance was even closer to home.

When a person goes missing, there's a special kind of pain in the not knowing.

I want to tell the stories of those who never came home.

on a Saturday evening. He was witnessed walking away with a man and a dog. The friend,

who was eight or nine at the time, could not positively identify the man, but he did positively identify the dog.
