When people speak about Christ coming to earth the first time, they usually talk about how he came.

But the great emphasis of Scripture is on why he came.

Today, we examine the purpose statements found throughout the gospel records. Each of them

perspective on it if you understand the why behind it all. And so we're walking through the gospel

records and we're looking at why Jesus came, these great purpose statements. And I want to give you

one great truth today and it's found in three different passages and it is this. Would you like to

know the divine destiny of why Christ came to this planet? Why did

he come? Did he just come to be a good teacher? Did he just come to give a good example and live a
