You know, I've talked about Christianity before and the exploitation of Christianity

or what they call Christianity by Republicans.

You know, with some sadness, frankly, I call myself a Christian.

I'm a fan of at least the teachings of Jesus, particularly affiliated with any particular church.

I'm one of the great unchurched, I guess you'd call it.

But now Russell Moore, the editor-in-chief of Christianity Today, which is kind of like the,

you know, the publication that anchors mainstream Christianity in the United States.

He was interviewed by Scott Detro over on NPR's All Things Considered Program recently.

He's got a new book out. It's called Russell Moore, not Scott Detro.

He's called Losing Our Religion and Alter Call for Evangelical America.

And what he's pointing out is that Republicans are promoting a form of Christianity that bears

no resemblance to what Jesus had in mind.
