Jessie Inchauspé is the brilliant biochemist, best-selling author, and founder behind the massive Instagram Glucose Goddess. With over half a million followers, Inchauspé has created a movement to help people reconnect with their bodies through an awareness around the effects glucose levels have on everything from sleep to energy levels to skin—AKA glucose monitoring. In just a few years, Inchauspé has made the importance of glucose health more mainstream through her practical, tangible hacks in order to live one’s best life alongside her first best-selling book, Glucose Revolution. But before Inchauspé set out to start a health revolution, she began her career in Silicon Valley after receiving her master’s degree in biochemistry. There, she worked with the personal genomics and biotechnology company 23andMe, where she would become a senior product manager. On this episode of Second Life, find out how Inchauspé’s career path unexpectedly catapulted her into finding a niche field of health research that feels like a calling.
