Summary

May 1983, 54-year-old Jessie Hoover set off on a trip from her home in Texas, traveling to Maine, where she planned to hike a remote section of the Appalachian Trail called the 100 Mile Wilderness.  After failing to check in for almost two months, her family notified the authorities who spent weeks looking for her. Ultimately, no clues were ever found and this case has remained a mystery for over 38 years.  Join us this week as we investigate the only open missing persons case on the Appalachian Trail, The disappearance of Jessie Hoover.  (Episode 41)
