On this program, Debbie Milman talks with Jessica Walsh

about her quick ascent in the world of design,

which may have had at least something to do

with that naked promotional photo she took with her new business partner, Stephan Saguister.

Stephan came to me and suggested that I would be dressed conservatively and that he would still be naked.

And I just looked at him and said, why would I be dressed conservatively?

I want to be naked too.

Here's Debbie Millman.

Just a few years ago, when Jessica Walsh was a senior at the Rhode Island School of Design,

she had to decide between a job at Apple and an internship at Pentagram in New York City.

She chose New York and it appears to have been the right choice.

In the few short years since then, Jessica has won a shelf full of honors and awards,

held some high-profile jobs, and was named one of the Art Director Club's Young Guns. And last year at age 25

Jessica became partners with Stefan Sagmeister. In addition to her work at

Sagmeister and Walsh, Jessica was recently named a faculty member here at the School of

Visual Arts.
