On to the news.

Now, if you listened to last week's episode with Paul Tenorio, you knew that all eyes were on the U.S. soccer election for president.

Cindy Parlo-Cone narrowly won a new four-year term over former president, Carlos

1:06.5

Cordero.

1:40.0

to a committee for more work with former national team player Daniel Slayton speaking up in a crucial

1:44.5

way to make sure the Federation gets that one right. So there's a lot there. I don't know if I

1:48.7

would recommend sitting through that entire YouTube stream, but between Friday's board meeting,

1:55.8

Saturday's annual general meeting, there's a lot to dig through and there's going to be a lot

2:00.1

to cover moving forward.

2:01.4

But of course, the big story out of the weekend was Parlo Cohn getting her new term.

2:05.2

There is, again, so much work ahead.

2:07.0

But before we move on to the rest of the news, here is her acceptance speech from the annual general meeting.

2:12.5

Wow.

2:13.1

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for this amazing show of support.
